I have been providing professional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada since 2001. I have worked with websites ranging from 50 to 250K pages in various industries: from high-tech to tourism to beauty products to food industry.
Before starting my own SEO business in 2001, I worked as a senior Technical Writer at Nortel Networks in 1999-2000. Before that, I served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alberta, Canada, Department of Foreign Languages and Comparative Studies, where I taught for more than 5 years while doing my Ph.D. in Literature and Linguistics.
While building and growing my SEO and Web Marketing business, I worked on contracts as a Marketing Communications Manager and Marketing Writer with a few high-tech companies in Ottawa. I also worked as an SEO subcontractor with a couple of online marketing agencies. Every new contract teaches me new things, so I am always interested in Marcom and Writing contracts.

Copywriting
Content creation is a large part of any Search Engine Optimization project. And I love writing and creating content, especially website content. So naturally I welcome any opportunity to do SEO copywriting. Please take a look at my SEO copywriting portoflio and samples of my writing. Apart from content of several websites, I wrote technical white papers, product brochures, business case studies, newsletter issues, press releases, and blog posts for various areas of expertise. I am a research bug, I research everything, just tell me what you need to find out, and I will research it for you and create a report. You will not be disappointed, I guarantee!
Web Design
In the last two years, I added web design to my Search Engine Optimization and Web Marketing services. Together with my husband, who is a professional software designer, we did a few Joomla web design projects, and we really liked it. So now I also have a Joomla web design company which I cheerfully called Joomla Bliss, to signify the joy of the trade.
Teaching
In addition to my SEO and web design work, I am currently teaching two evening courses at Algonquin College (one course per semester, each course once a week): Marketing Communications (PRL 5224) and Persuasion and Public Opinion (PRL 5225). Teaching keeps me motivated to follow the newest website design and web marketing trends. Love of teaching is the main reason why I offer SEO seminars.
